Ashish Aggarwal is senior manager of government affairs for Qualcomm. In this role, Ashish manages Qualcomm’s Wireless Reach™ initiatives in India and South Asia. Wireless Reach supports programs that bring the benefits of connectivity to communities globally. By working with partners, Wireless Reach creates new ways for people to communicate, learn, access health care, improve the environment and reach global markets. The goal of Wireless Reach is to create sustainable advanced wireless projects that strengthen economic and social development with a focus on education, entrepreneurship, health care, the environment and public safety.
Previously, Ashish managed government affairs for DuPont India, a global supplier of products and services in a variety of industries from transportation and construction to agriculture and energy.
Prior to that, he worked for the Government of India under the Ministry of IT where he managed multiple projects across several areas of India. He also has worked within the Indian Foreign Office as part of the Indian Government’s work on External Publicity and Public Diplomacy.
Ashish received a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master’s in Business Management from FORE School of Management, New Delhi.
His has been working in an Honorary position with the India affiliate of the World Scouts Organisation for the last seven years as their National Treasurer. He was awarded with the Silver Elephant Award by the President of India, which is the highest award for Scouting in India.
Ashish’s other interests include reading books and listening to music. He enjoys traveling and interacting with new people. He also has a collection of various pens and obsolete writing instruments.
