Colm Healy is vice president and general manager of Xiam Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of Qualcomm, at Qualcomm Internet Services. QIS helps accelerate consumer adoption and consumption of mobile content across all networks and devices by delivering a more engaging mobile experience that is contextual and relevant to consumers’ personal interests.

In his current role, Healy is actively involved in successfully building strong business relationships between Xiam Technologies and a worldwide network of mobile carriers such as Vodafone, Orange, O2, AIS and Globe. He has been instrumental in accelerating the growth of Xiam Technologies from its start-up phase to its position as one of the leading suppliers of targeting and profiling solutions to mobile carriers through to its acquisition by Qualcomm in March 2008.

Healy has a strong track record at the highest managerial levels, and is a frequent speaker and respected thinker in the wireless arena. He has delivered many speeches and talks on how mobile carriers can best face the challenge of delivering the next wave of revenues from data services.

Prior to joining Xiam Technologies in 2000, Healy held a number of senior positions in Dublin, New York and London within Bank of Ireland's Treasury and International Banking Division and previously in Price Waterhouse Coopers.

He is a qualified chartered accountant and holds a first class honors Masters Degree in Management Science as well as a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from University College Dublin.
