Description

MC-HSPA in 3GPP R8 enables peak data rates of 42Mbps and twice the HSPA+ data rates across the coverage area by enabling users to simultaneously receive data through two 5MHz HSPA+ channels. MC-HSPA also enables operators to significantly increase the capacity to support users with bursty traffic. In this video, Qualcomm Corporate R&D demonstrates MC-HSPA in action in an outdoor mobile scenario.
