mHealth Summit

Dec 5-7, 2011

Modern health care is at a critical juncture and bold solutions are needed to augment strained resources and address inefficiencies in the system, enable personal health management, and increase convenience.

Leaders in government, the private sector, industry, academia and more met at the third annual mHealth Summit to advance collaboration in the use of wireless technology to improve health outcomes in the United States and abroad.

In addition to Dr. Jacobs keynoting at the event, Qualcomm’s participation at the Summit included lead sponsorship and an expanded Wireless Health Pavilion featuring 32 cutting-edge wireless health exhibits as well as a lounge area to provide space for meetings and encourage networking. Dr. Jacobs was the Summit keynote on the closing day, December 7, focusing on the rapid evolution of mobile and the ever-expanding opportunities of mobile technologies to take the health care industry to new levels.
