A collaborative third-generation (3G ) telecommunications specifications-setting project, 3GPP produces, maintains and develops globally applicable technical specifications and reports based on GSM technologies (GPRS , EDGE, W-CDMA , UMTS , HSxPA and future evolutions). - 3GPP2
A collaborative third-generation (3G) telecommunications specifications-setting project, 3GPP2 produces, maintains and develops globally applicable technical specifications and reports based on CDMA technologies (CDMA2000 1X , CDMA2000 1xEV-DO , and future evolutions). - CDMA Development Group (CDG)
The CDG helps to ensure interoperability and roaming among systems and operators, while expediting the availability of 3G CDMA technology to consumers. - Global Handset Requirements for CDMA (GHRC)
A CDG initiative, GHRC develops device and application requirements documents for use by CDMA operators and suppliers to enhance time to market and availability of devices. - CDMA Certification Forum (CCF)
The CCF streamlines the way third-generation devices are tested and prepared for commercialization through a standardized global certification process significantly reduces the time and cost to market. Qualcomm is a founding member of the CCF. - International Roaming Team (IRT)
A CDG technical team, the IRT assists CDMA2000 operators in all aspects of international roaming.
