I have had the opportunity to work at various sized companies and have experienced different work environments. I have found that Qualcomm provides the best of all worlds. On the one hand, Qualcomm offers the reputation and benefits of a respected global leader in next generation wireless. At the same time, working here is very much like an innovative and entrepreneurial start-up anxious to launch its first product and quickly moving on to the next. That’s a powerful combination for me to experience.

We see examples of the Qualcomm values of Innovation, Execution and Partnership in action on a daily basis, and we see that these values contribute to many accomplishments. For one, being recognized as Fortune Magazine’s "100 Best Companies to Work For” eleven consecutive years and counting. Not very many companies can claim that achievement year after year.

The Qualcomm value I identify with the most is Execution. Every day, something remarkable is happening at any one of our divisions and subsidiaries. The same can be said at every level. It’s no coincidence that Qualcomm has over 7,200 patents to our credit. People here make things happen; improving the way people communicate, work and live. Everything I do contributes in some way to the overall success of the company.

Working at Qualcomm offers endless opportunities to learn, grow, contribute and lead. In addition to our primary daily responsibilities, we all participate in numerous outside projects. Some of the same traits that make veterans successful in the military also contribute to one’s success at Qualcomm: leadership, duty, respect, selfless service, teamwork, integrity and perseverance.
