What is an appropriate request amount?
There is no standard amount that should be requested. The amount should be based on the program's budget, existing organizational resources, and the forecast for additional funding. The Qualcomm corporate giving committee may decide to fund some or all of a program's expenses.
What are important proposal elements?

What does Qualcomm not typically fund?
- Capital campaigns

- Primary and secondary schools
What if I cannot find certain documents required for submission?
Although Qualcomm strongly urges that all applications are submitted with the required documentation, we will accept proposals that do not include every required attachment. Qualcomm Corporate Giving will contact your organization if additional information is required to review the request.
Will attachments submitted be returned to our organization?
No. All materials submitted (including videos, DVDs, CD's and brochures) will not be returned to your organization.
How often can our organization reapply for funding?
- Organizations that were not invited to submit a proposal may resubmit a letter of inquiry twelve months after receiving a funding decision from Qualcomm.
- Organizations that were invited to submit a proposal, but did not receive funding, may resubmit a letter of inquiry twelve months after receiving a funding decision from Qualcomm.
Will someone contact me when the application is received?
No. Qualcomm will notify you via mail of the committee's decision within three weeks of the bi-monthly meeting.
