A Great Place to Work
“I work on the Campus Recruiting Team, and my specific role is hiring the top software students into the CDMA division of Qualcomm. When interns aren’t keeping me too busy, I enjoy working on other projects like our New Employee Experience (Qualcomm's unique onboarding program), traveling to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign to look for the brightest interns and new grads, and writing a column in our monthly intern newsletter.”
An Exciting Environment
“Qualcomm is very unique in that everyone’s ideas matter. Whether you want to start a lunchtime book club, or engineer the next big technology through the Qualcomm Innovation Network - you can, no matter if you are an associate, or a VP.”
Living Qualcomm’s Values: Innovate, Execute, Partner
“Qualcomm is best at partnering, in all aspects really, from external corporate partnerships to internal partnerships with colleagues! There’s no such thing here as doing a job on your own here. Whether it's a co-worker helping me with a big presentation, or a shuttle driver helping me carry intern t-shirts to the office, everyone is wiling to lend a hand and partner.”
What Candidates Should Know About Qualcomm
“Interns should know that if they get a job at Qualcomm, you will actually be doing work on valuable projects, on technologies that will be in phones someday soon!”
Interviewing Tips
“Be truthful! If you don’t know the answer, just say you don’t know. Interviewers will sometimes ask a question that they know you don’t know the answer to. Just explain how you would TRY to solve the problem. It is the thought process that they are the most interested in.”
