Qualcomm Research Nuremberg has a strong background on wireless WAN radio access and core network systems that contributes to development of advanced radio and network systems technologies for the further evolution of 3GPP LTE/EPS standards. Qualcomm Research Nuremberg also contributes to developing and standardizing solutions to problems in existing networks. This includes R&D on advanced receivers, relays and inter-cell interference coordination, eCall solution, as well as support of standardization work in ETSI and 3GPP.
