Qualcomm’s wireless business incubator
Qualcomm Labs, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated and serves as an internal incubator focused on addressing new market and product opportunities. Over time, products and services commercialized through Qualcomm Labs become new subsidiaries, transfer to other Qualcomm business units or potentially exit as independent companies.
Qualcomm Labs transforms emerging ideas and technologies into viable businesses that move the wireless industry forward. The group is focused on developing businesses in the following areas:

David Wise
Senior Vice President Strategy & Finance and Global Market Development
David Wise is Senior Vice President of Strategy & Finance and Global Market Development (GMD) of Qualcomm Incorporated. The GMD team is responsible for commercializing new technologies developed by Qualcomm’s Corporate Research & Development teams, as well as driving new business development related to external opportunities. In his role Wise has two key responsibilities, which are to drive new business incubation within the GMD team and also oversee Strategy and Finance for Qualcomm’s various services businesses.
